Drumate Basic - Drum Rudiments 3.0

Rudiments are fundamental exercises for drummers designed to enhance speed, skill, and creativity while playing the drums. It takes more than simply following a single tempo track to master them.

Drumate utilizes your phone's processing power to generate a wide range of training patterns from a single rudiment. This approach makes it a lightweight and efficient app requiring minimal storage space, offering three practice modes:

• Constant: Practice the rudiment at a consistent speed, with or without rests. This mode is beneficial for mastering the structure and feel of the rudiment.
• Steps: Perform in sets of steps, each at its own tempo. Transition from slow to fast tempos or vice versa. The step length is customizable, and rests can be added. Utilize this mode to push your boundaries when increasing speed.
• Up and Down: Begin at an initial tempo that progressively increases with each bar until reaching a maximum value, then decreases back to the initial tempo. This mode enables practice from "open to close to open" and is ideal for covering a wide range of speeds to enhance endurance and speed.

Rudiments are filterable by type, allowing you to mark favorites for focused practice sessions on particular sets of rudiments. Drumate is a valuable tool for musicians, especially drummers and percussionists. It serves as a reliable companion for enhancing your drumming skills!

As a drummer myself, I developed this app with the belief that phones can offer more than just playing tracks. I achieved this by creating an algorithm that uses a single bar of a rudiment to produce varied and customizable practice tracks, enriching drummers' training sessions and those of music enthusiasts while significantly saving phone storage space.

The current version of the app utilizes Android's internal synthesizer for playback. By installing Drumate Basic or purchasing the Premium version, your support will facilitate obtaining a software license for improved snare and metronome sounds.
